Understanding Willy Wonka: The importance of Light and Dark in the Character

Willy Wonka is both fun and mysterious. He's joyful but can be a little scary too, keeping people guessing.
We need an actor who can show both his playful and darker sides, making him unforgettable!

Important information

The Membership fee to audition is £30 - you will not be able to audition unless this fee has been paid - this is the standard membership fee that all must pay in order to join the society (as part of the charity legislation).

Show fees are £120 but you will only need to pay these if you choose to take part in the production

An audition workshop for the role will take place at The Cooper Room (Main St, Shenstone, Lichfield WS14 0LZ) 10am-1pm on Sunday 22nd September 2024.

Auditions for the role will take place at Stonnall Village Hall (114 Main St, Stonnall, Walsall WS9 9DY) 7:30pm-10:00pm (a slot will be given) on Thursday 26th September 2024.

If you are not available for the above dates please let us know ASAP at tudormcs@outlook.com - we will accept video auditions if required but in personal auditions are preferable, we are also willing to audition on Sunday 22nd if required.
Please note that ALL auditions will be recorded.

Our standard rehearsal times are Thursdays at Stonnall Village Hall 7:30pm-10:00pm
And Sundays at the Cooper Room 10am-1:00pm.
Please take these into consideration regarding your availability.
